Dr Sanjay Singh

I am engaged in teaching and research in Computational Intelligence, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Natural Language Processing, Game Theory, and Fuzzy Logic. My teaching philosophy emphasizes a balance between strong theoretical foundations and practical, hands-on problem solving, enabling students to apply advanced computational techniques to real-world challenges. I continually update course content to reflect emerging trends and technologies, ensuring that students are well-prepared for both academic research and industry practice.

I actively supervise and mentor undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students, guiding them through all stages of the research process, from problem formulation to dissemination of results. I am committed to fostering a research-driven learning environment that promotes critical thinking, innovation, and ethical scholarship. Through close mentorship, I support students in developing technical depth, research independence, and professional readiness for careers in academia and industry.

In addition to teaching and research, I contribute to academic leadership and curriculum development within the institution. I serve as the Course Coordinator for the M.Tech. program in Artificial Intelligence and Decision Science, where I oversee curriculum design and periodic revision to align with evolving academic standards and industry needs. I am also a member of the Department Curriculum Committee and the Board of Studies at MIT, Manipal, contributing to curriculum planning, policy development, and quality assurance initiatives aimed at maintaining high academic standards.
