Dr. Rohini Punja

She teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate programs including MBBS, MD, and MSc . Her teaching responsibilities encompass curriculum planning, lesson development, assessment design, and small group facilitation, with a strong emphasis on innovative pedagogical approaches. She contributes to the examination process through question paper setting, theory invigilation, and practical examinations, and has developed various learning resources for MBBS students.

She mentors postgraduate students as a research guide and thesis supervisor, supporting them through seminars, research activities, and scholarly writing. In her role as Teacher Guardian to undergraduate students, she extends her support well beyond the classroom — guiding students in case presentations, nurturing their academic confidence, and mentoring them in short-term research through the ICMR Student Training Scheme (STS), helping them take their first steps in scientific inquiry and research methodology. Her research interests include morphometric and anatomical variation studies, clinical and surgical anatomy, radiological anatomy, and innovations in anatomy education, with work regularly presented and published at national and international forums.

She stays current through CMEs, workshops, and conferences, and contributes to institutional quality initiatives as a member of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and an Internal Auditor.
