Dr. Resmi G

Dr. Resmi G is passionate about nurturing creativity among B.Des. Fashion Design students through courses such as Fashion Studio I, Craft Documentation, and History of Fashion. She enriches learning by organizing site visits, guest lectures, and hands-on academic activities that connect classroom concepts with real-world experiences.

Alongside teaching, she actively contributes to institutional quality initiatives, coordinating activities related to NAAC accreditation, AICTE approvals, and academic documentation. She mentors students in design projects, research, presentations, and professional development, always striving to support their growth both inside and outside the classroom.

Her research interests include medical and healthcare textiles, functional clothing, sustainable textiles, and craft documentation. She is particularly committed to developing innovative textile solutions for healthcare. Through continuous engagement in research, workshops, conferences, and collaborations, she remains dedicated to learning, innovation, and meaningful academic contribution.
