As a dedicated educator, he is actively involved in the training of postgraduate psychiatry residents, with a focus on clinical interview skills, examination techniques, diagnostic decision-making, psychotherapy, and neuromodulation therapies. Teaching extends beyond the clinic to structured academic activities including case conferences, seminars, and journal clubs, ensuring residents develop a well-rounded foundation in contemporary psychiatric practice. He has undergone advanced training in recent psychiatric classification systems (ICD-11) and serves as a trainer in the same, conducting workshops for postgraduate students as well as fellow trainers.

A particular area of expertise lies in Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs)- designing, conducting, and training standardized patients (actors) to ensure high-fidelity, standardized assessment experiences. At the undergraduate level, guides students across disciplines in research methodology and grant writing, fostering a culture of inquiry and evidence-based practice from the earliest stages of medical training. He is a recognized postgraduate guide and an accredited PhD supervisor, mentoring scholars in psychiatric research.
