Encourages group learning and discussion for MBBS Students. Sets question papers, invigilates theory examinations and conducts practical examinations for MBBS and postgraduate students. Guides postgraduates in their research activities, conference presentations, seminars, clinics and journal clubs. Helps postgraduate students in their thesis as guide. Does research in the field of various fields of Paediatrics and updates by delivering lectures, attending CMEs, workshops and conferences at national, state and international levels. Is a reviewer for more than 50 biomedical journals.

Contributed three chapters for different academic books. Served as examiner to undergraduate and postgraduate students at various health Universities. Is a teacher guardian to undergraduate students and gives best to help them outside the classrooms. Guide the undergraduate students in their conference presentations and short term research projects. Guides the undergraduate in their case presentations. Actively involved in the departmental and institutional other academic activities.

As a PhD Guide, helps in PhD candidates in conducting the research. Actively involved in research activities and have published more than 150 research articles in peer reviewed indexed national and international reputed journals including the journal PEDIATRICS, a primier journal of Americal Academy Of Pediatrics. Organised a local conference, KARAVALI PEDICON 2024 as a president of Udupi branch of Indian Academy of Paediatrics. Contributed to UPSC academic assignments. Organised Indo-Ocshner CME in 2026.
