Is an undergraduate and Post gradaute teacher in Psychiatry. Role includes theoretical concepts and clinical aspects of idenitfying and treating in mental illness. With special interests in Ethics and Forensic Psychiatry, trains both UGs and PGs in these concepts during clincal discussions.

Focused on chronic mental illness and incharge at the rehabilitation unit of the Department of Psychiatry, emphsizes the need for multi-disciplinary approach in the managment of mental illnesses. Mentors the post graduate students in research, screening through the ethical aspects of research. Encouraging undergradaute research, takes up small research in relation to mental illness and related domains.

As part of Research Ethics and Regulations vertical, coordinated various activites of the Ethics committees, training, awareness sessions and streamlining the processes. In addition, involved in training psychiatry Social work MPhil candidates along with clinical training for allied health fileds such as Clinical psychology and Occupational Therapy. Invovled in generation and creation of OSCE for Post Graduate Examination and training in OSCE.
