Current Academic Role & Responsibilities
Coordinating Engineering Physics courses, designing curriculum delivery, mentoring students, and guiding research activities in semiconductor thin films, nanomaterials, and electronic materials. Contribute to the global research community as a reviewer for reputed international journals, including Materials Science in Semiconductor Processing, Indian Journal of Applied Physics, Current Applied Physics, Thin Solid Films, Journal of Microelectronics, and Journal of Electronic Materials, evaluating manuscripts for scientific quality and originality. #Successfully completed multiple sponsored research projects funded by agencies such as UGC-DAE CSR Mumbai, DST, MAHE–UNSW Sydney collaborative research, and internal university funding schemes focusing on ZnO-based thin films, nanofibers, piezoelectric materials, and semiconductor devices. As a research role includes project execution, materials synthesis, characterization, data analysis, publication, and collaborative research development. Published 72 research papers in international journals and presented 25 research papers at national and international conferences, contributing significantly to materials science and semiconductor research.
Served as a resource person in workshops and faculty development programmes, delivering expert lectures on nanotechnology, semiconductor device fabrication, and nanofilm characterization. Organized and convened several national-level conferences, seminars, and workshops on condensed matter physics, nanomaterials, and electronic materials under sponsored programs from national agencies. Administrative responsibilities include serving as Engineering Physics Course Coordinator, departmental alumni coordinator, and contributing to institutional activities through hostel administration, student clubs, and examination duties.
Memberships in scientific societies and sustained academic engagement. Continue to support research excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and quality engineeringcenter. Helps postgraduate students in their thesis as guide.
