Dr Raghavendra Rao P

Acts as an Assistant Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering, actively involved in teaching undergraduate engineering courses and conducting laboratory sessions with a focus on outcome-based and application-oriented learning. Prepares course materials, assignments, and assessments, and guides students in practical experiments, simulations, and project-based learning activities to strengthen analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.

Guides undergraduate students in open-ended simulations, mini-projects, interdisciplinary projects, and technical presentations, encouraging innovation, teamwork, and practical implementation of engineering concepts. Provides academic mentoring and continuous support to help students improve their technical knowledge, and professional competency. Also actively participates in departmental academic activities, curriculum-related work, and institutional development initiatives.

Serves as the Placement Coordinator by coordinating student placement-related activities and supporting students in career development and employability enhancement programs. Additionally functions as the IET UG Coordinator, Mentorship Coordinator, and Slow–Fast Learner Coordinator for Mechatronics under School of Mechanical Engineering.
