Actively involved in teaching and training MBBS students, MD Psychiatry residents, and MPhil trainees in Psychiatric Social Work and Clinical Psychology. Encourages interactive learning, group discussions, and clinical exposure for students and trainees. Sets question papers, invigilates theory examinations, and conducts practical and clinical examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Guides postgraduate students in their research activities, seminars, dissertations, and thesis work as guide/co-guide.

Mentors and supervises interns, trainees, and students posted in the department from various institutions. Guides undergraduate students in short-term research projects, case presentations, and clinical learning activities. Actively participates in departmental and institutional academic activities. Engages in research in various fields of mental health and updates professional knowledge through CMEs, workshops, seminars, and conferences at state and national levels.
