Dr Prasanna Kumar

Actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students of Pharm D, Pharm D (PB), M Pharm, B Pharm, and D Pharm programs in subjects including Pharmacotherapeutics, Pharmacoepidemiology, Pharmacoeconomics, Pathophysiology, and Social Pharmacy. Conducts theory and practical classes, promotes group learning and discussions, sets question papers, invigilates theory examinations, and conducts practical examinations.

Actively guides postgraduate students in their research activities, seminars, thesis work, and scientific presentations as a research mentor for Pharm D and M Pharm students. Is also an approved PhD mentor under MAHE. Continuously updates knowledge through participation in CMEs, workshops, conferences, and faculty development programs at state and national levels.

Acts as a teacher guardian for undergraduate students and provides academic guidance beyond classroom teaching. Guides undergraduate students in short-term research projects and case presentations. Actively participates in departmental and institutional academic activities and serves as Teacher Coordinator for NSS and CDC, contributing to social and community outreach activities.
