Current Academic Role & Responsibilities
A dedicated academician in Physiology, actively involved in teaching MBBS students in both theory and practical aspects of the subject. Promotes interactive and group-based learning through innovative teaching methods, practical sessions, and small-group discussions. Academic responsibilities include setting question papers, invigilation, conducting practical and viva examinations, and participating in various departmental academic activities.
Actively mentors MBBS, MD postgraduate students, MSc students, and PhD scholars in research methodology, thesis work, seminars, and scientific presentations. Guides undergraduate students in short-term research projects, case presentations, and academic activities, encouraging scientific thinking and research orientation. As a teacher-guardian, supports students in their academic learning and professional development. Research interests include various areas of Physiology, and regularly updates knowledge through participation in CMEs, workshops, conferences, and faculty development programs at institutional and national levels.
