Dr. P Radha Krishna Reddy

Dr. Reddy is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT, Manipal), where he is actively involved in teaching, research, student mentoring, and academic service activities. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Porto and conducted his doctoral research at the CISTER Research Centre under the supervision of Eduardo Tovar, Luis Almeida, and Pedro Santos. His doctoral work on synchronous intelligent intersections for sustainable urban mobility was supported by the prestigious FCT Doctoral Fellowship 2021 funded by the Portuguese government.

With more than eight years of international academic and research experience, Dr. Reddy has worked with reputed institutions including Inria Paris, COPELABS, and CEDRIC Lab. His expertise spans intelligent transportation systems, autonomous and connected vehicles, real-time embedded systems, edge and cloud computing, and cyber-physical systems security. At Manipal Institute of Technology, he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Distributed Systems, Internet of Things, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, and related areas, while also mentoring student projects and research activities. He has previously served as an Assistant Professor at Amrita University and Mohan Babu University.

Dr. Reddy has published his research in leading journals such as IEEE Access, IEEE Open Journal of Intelligent Transportation Systems, and Transportation Research Part D, and presented at major international conferences including IEEE RTSS, IEEE ITSC, EWGT, and ETFA. He also served as the Principal Investigator of an FCT-funded research project on multi-agent coordination for urban traffic management, with a total funding of €41,000. In addition, he actively contributes to the research community as a reviewer and program committee member for several reputed journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Journal of Systems Architecture, and ACM Transactions on Embedded Computing Systems.
