Dr. P. Kalyana Chakravarthy

I am responsible for leading and coordinating the academic, clinical, outreach, and administrative activities of the Department of Public Health Dentistry. My role includes overseeing undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs, ensuring effective implementation of the curriculum, and maintaining high standards in teaching-learning processes. I supervise academic schedules, clinical postings, student assessments, and departmental functioning while also allocating and monitoring faculty responsibilities related to academics, outreach, research, and institutional duties.

I actively organize and monitor community-based dental health programs and outreach services aimed at promoting preventive and curative oral healthcare and community awareness. I supervise postgraduate research activities, mentor PG students, and research methodology training. I also ensure proper maintenance of departmental records (ISO and NAAC), reports, and documentation in accordance with institutional and university requirements.
