Current Academic Role & Responsibilities
Dr. Nitin G Pai serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatric Surgery at Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal, a constituent unit of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).
In this role, he balances comprehensive clinical duties with academic and research leadership, managing a wide spectrum of complex elective and emergency neonatal and pediatric surgical conditions. Deeply committed to evidence-based medicine and clinical advancement, Dr.
Pai serves as the department's Research Coordinator and contributes his specialized expertise as an active member of the KMC Tumor Board at the Manipal Comprehensive Cancer Care Centre. Alongside his clinical and administrative responsibilities, he is a dedicated educator involved in training the next generation of medical professionals like MBBS students inaddition to teaching MS General surgery and Mch Pediatric surgery postgraduates.
