Actively participates in undergraduate teaching through lectures, practical demonstrations, seminars, and clinico-microbiological discussions. Responsible for conducting and invigilating theory and practical examinations in accordance with institutional and university guidelines.

Provides routine diagnostic microbiology services including bacteriology, virology, mycology, parasitology, and serology, ensuring accurate and timely laboratory reporting with clinical correlation for effective patient care. Collaborates closely with clinicians in the interpretation of microbiological findings and supports evidence-based management of infectious diseases.

Contributes to Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) surveillance activities and Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs (AMSP) by promoting infection control practices and rational antimicrobial usage. Regularly participates in CMEs, workshops, conferences, and departmental academic activities to stay updated with recent advances in Microbiology, while also assisting in departmental administrative and institutional responsibilities.
