Current Academic Role & Responsibilities
Actively engages in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students by promoting interactive learning, group discussions, and concept-based understanding in core areas of Chemical and Environmental Engineering. Provides academic mentoring and guidance to students, supporting their overall development. Serves as NBA Coordinator, contributing to outcome-based education (OBE) implementation, accreditation documentation, curriculum mapping, and continuous quality improvement processes within the department. Actively participates in departmental academic activities, contributing to curriculum development and program enhancement.
Leads research initiatives as the Principal Investigator of the ICMR-sponsored Sensing and Remediation Research Centre (SRRC), focusing on interdisciplinary solutions for environmental monitoring and pollutant removal. Actively supervises doctoral, postgraduate and undergraduate students in research projects. Demonstrates expertise in areas including sustainable environmental technologies, hybrid effluent treatment methods, photocatalysis and adsorption studies.
