Current Academic Role & Responsibilities
She is actively involved in teaching and training at the undergraduate (MBBS), postgraduate (MS Ophthalmology), and Fellowship (Glaucoma) levels. For MBBS students, she conducts regular clinical and theory classes, including small group discussions, role plays, and other interactive teaching methods. She also serves as a mentor for undergraduate students.
For postgraduate students, she provides regular clinical and surgical training, moderates case presentations and seminars, and guides thesis work. For fellowship trainees in Glaucoma, she offers advanced clinical and hands-on surgical training on a regular basis. She is involved in academic activities such as case presentations, journal clubs, and seminars.
She also oversees glaucoma outreach services through camps and actively promotes research activities. In addition, she is involved in academic assessment activities, including setting question papers, conducting theory examinations, and practical examinations for all three groups of trainees. She also serves as a PhD Guide/Co-guide.
