Is a motivated researcher with demonstrated experience in thin-film technology and various materials characterisation techniques. A few of the projects in which he was involved in the past few years include the growth of epitaxial nanostructures, the development of QW structures for photovoltaic applications, structure-property correlations of GaN and its alloys, carbon nanostructures for supercapacitors, oxide thin films, surface modification of polymer membranes and so on.

Currently, involved in research in various fields of renewable and alternative energy materials, materials for solid-state electroinic devices and sensors.

Is a teacher guardian to undergraduate students and gives his best to help them outside the classroom. Guide the undergraduate and postgraduate students in their short-term research projects. Actively involved in the departmental and institutional academic and administrative activities.
