As a Professor of Community Medicine, I strongly believe in the principles of the specialty that prevention is always better than cure. I am passionate about promoting healthy lifestyle especially among the youth and have worked extensively in tobacco control. My research has also focused on obesity risk reduction, harms to others from alcohol use and novel interventions for promoting healthy lifestyles including regular physical activity and balanced diet.
