Current Academic Role & Responsibilities
Teaches Molecular Biology I and II and Recombinant DNA technology for postgraduate students. Conducts Advanced Genomics Practical for undergraduate students and Molecular Biology Practical for postgraduate students.
Carries out research in the field of Microbiology and Mycology. The focus is on extracellular vesicles produced by bacterial and fungal pathogens, host-pathogen interactions, endophyte biology, quorum sensing, microbial diagnostics and wound healing in diabetic ulcers.
Also actively involved in the departmental and institutional academic activities.
