Current Academic Role & Responsibilities
Dr Meena Kumari K is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. Involved in exam related activities (Sets question papers, invigilates theory examinations and conducts practical examinations).
Does research in the field of various fields of Pharmacology and updates my knowledge by attending CMEs, workshops and conferences at national and state levels.
Is a teacher guardian to undergraduate.Is involved in academic administration. Guide the undergraduate students in their short term research projects. Guide the postgraduate in their seminars,journal clubs,case presentations,recent advances,thesis,original research and review article manuscript preparation.Currently Block Incharge for MBBS (Competency Based Medical Education) .Coordinator for MSc Pharmacology,Member of department scientific committee,Department NMC Coordinator,Member of KMC IBSC Committee,Chairperson of Pharmacovigilance committee,Member of District AEFI Committee. Has contributed two chapters in books .Resource person in National level workshop.Actively involved in the departmental and institutional other academic activities.
