Current Academic Role & Responsibilities
Works as an Assistant Professor in the domains of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Blockchain Technology, and Distributed Systems, contributing to both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. Actively involved in delivering lectures, conducting laboratory sessions, mentoring student projects, academic evaluation, curriculum development, and guiding students in technical presentations, mini-projects, and research-oriented activities.
Engaged in the design and delivery of courses related to AI in Cybersecurity, Blockchain Technology, Network Security, Zero Trust Security, Machine Learning, Deep Learning. Provides mentorship to students in emerging areas such as cybersecurity, federated learning, privacy-preserving machine learning, and decentralized applications, fostering innovation and interdisciplinary learning. Serving as a mentor for second- and third-year students, supporting their academic and professional development.
Contributing to departmental and institutional responsibilities by serving as a Department NAAC Committee Member, actively involved in accreditation documentation and quality assurance processes. Also serving as a SLCM 2.0 Team Member, coordinating departmental-level data entry and management.
Actively engaged in mentoring virtual internship programs in cybersecurity in collaboration with Hanze University, Netherlands, guiding students in practical and research-oriented cybersecurity applications. Regularly participating in conferences, faculty development programs, and collaborative research initiatives as well as guiding students in publications, projects, and innovation-driven activities.
