Principal of Manipal Scool of Nursing. Conducts faculty meeting. Conducts Diploma Nursing practical examinations for the students of the school of nursing in the Udupi district. Is guide and co-guide for MSc and Ph D students in their research project.

External examiner to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, and Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. Acts as Student Counsellor. Scrutinises question papers set by the faculty. Attends to students' grievances; participates in faculty development programs and conducts continuing education programs.

Updates knowledge by attending CNEs, workshops and conferences at international, national and state levels. Actively involved in the departmental and institutional other academic activities. Member of Institutional research committee. Reviewer in indexed journals.
