Current Academic Role & Responsibilities
His work focuses on urban studies, sustainable mobility, and inclusive urban development. He teaches modules in Urban Studies, Urban Context Studio, and Transport Planning and Infrastructure Planning, and also supports course planning, studio coordination, and thesis guidance for UG and PG students.
His research interests centre on perceived accessibility, sustainable urban mobility, travel behaviour, transport planning, and data-driven urban studies. He served as Co-Principal Investigator for the DULT-funded project “Promoting Sustainable Travel Behaviour Through Employer-Based Commute Incentives,” exploring strategies to encourage sustainable commuting practices. His academic engagements also include work on smart transport solutions, urban infrastructure, and street design and performance assessment.
As an Assistant Professor at the Manipal School of Architecture and Planning, MAHE, and Co-Coordinator of the Centre for Inclusive Cities, MAHE, he combines academic inquiry with applied approaches to contemporary urban challenges. Beyond his academic responsibilities, he contributes to institutional ranking initiatives and supports quality assurance and compliance-related activities at the institute level.
