Current Academic Role & Responsibilities
Implement CBME in accordance with NMC regulations. Conduct lectures, small-group discussions, practical sessions, and skills-based teaching for MBBS students. Design, administer, and evaluate formative and summative assessments for undergraduate medical students. Develop and implement innovative teaching-learning methods, including video-based assessments, gamification strategies, and educational escape rooms to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
Integrate simulation and skills-based teaching approaches into medical education. Mentor undergraduate medical students in short-term research projects. Guide MSc and MD postgraduate students in the planning and execution of thesis projects. Serve as a guide/co-guide for PhD research projects.
Integrate educational technology into teaching and assessment through the effective use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) for blended learning and continuous assessment. Incorporate Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools into teaching, learning, and assessment practices to enhance educational effectiveness and learner engagement. Participate in curriculum planning, academic administration, and faculty development activities related to medical education. Serve as a mentor under the institutional Mentor–Mentee Program for undergraduate medical students.
