Dr K V Sriram

Dr. K.V. Sriram is a Professor in the School of Basic Sciences, Humanities and Management at Manipal Institute of Technology and currently serves as Associate Director at the Office of Industry Liaison, Placement and Practice School. With over two decades of professional experience spanning academia and industry, he has played a significant role in strengthening industry–academia engagement, student career development, and experiential learning initiatives at the institute. His work has focused on building sustainable partnerships with industry and enhancing institutional outreach through structured placement and practice school initiatives.

An accomplished academician and researcher, Dr. Sriram specializes in Financial Management, Marketing Management, and General Management. He has authored more than 30 publications in Scopus-indexed journals and has successfully led a project funded by the Department of Science and Technology – NSTMIS, Government of India. He is currently guiding six PhD scholars in the areas of Finance, Waste Management, and Service Marketing, while also serving as a subject matter expert for doctoral researchers under Manipal Academy of Higher Education. Dr.K.V.Sriram has introduced several process-driven initiatives aimed at improving and streamlining campus placements. Known for his strong industry connect, leadership, and mentoring abilities, he continues to contribute towards creating meaningful opportunities for students, faculty, and industry partners alike.
