Dr. Jitendra Kumar Katiyar

Dr. Jitendra Kumar Katiyar is serving as Associate Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering and is actively involved in teaching undergraduate engineering courses such as Fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Process-II. He encourages interactive learning and technical discussions among students and continuously strives to improve the teaching-learning process through practical and application-oriented methodologies. He is also involved in setting question papers, conducting practical sessions, invigilation duties, and evaluation-related academic responsibilities.
He guides B.Tech students in their academic projects, seminars, and technical activities, while also supervising PhD scholars in their research work. He actively contributes to research and academic development in the field of Mechanical Engineering by participating in workshops, faculty development programs, conferences, and other professional activities at national and international levels to update his knowledge and expertise.
As Teacher Guardian for first-year students and mentor for higher semester students, he provides academic guidance, motivation, and personal support to students both inside and outside the classroom. He takes keen interest in mentoring students for their overall professional growth and is actively involved in departmental and institutional academic as well as administrative activities.
