Dr. Guruprasad Nayak

Actively involved in teaching both theory and practical components for the M.Sc. program in Reproductive and Developmental Biology. Serving as the Academic Coordinator for the III Semester M.Sc. program, with responsibilities including preparation of academic schedules, question papers, maintenance and monitoring of logbooks, updating class information on the SLCM portal, and coordinating student evaluations. Also undertake responsibilities as an internal and external examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate examinations.

As a member of the KMC Doctoral Research Vertical, actively participate as a core member in DAC, IPAC, and Synopsis meetings, while monitoring the academic and research progress of Ph.D. scholars. Regularly attend IPAC presentations as the MAHE representative hosted by various sister institutes of MAHE. Currently serving as co-guide and subject expert for the Ph.D. scholars providing intellectual and technical support for their thesis.

Additionally, guide postgraduate students in their dissertation research work during their course. Actively involved in grant proposal development for extramural funding from government and private agencies, providing intellectual contributions to research manuscripts, and reviewing scientific articles. In addition to academic and research responsibilities, contribute to departmental administrative activities assigned by the Head of the Department. These include coordinating and monitoring departmental maintenance and IT-related issues, as well as compiling and submitting monthly reports on publications, conferences, workshops, seminars, CMEs, presentations, and awards achieved by faculty members, Ph.D. scholars, and postgraduate students.
