Dr Dileep Kumar

Engaged as Assistant Professor- Senior Scale in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students through research-oriented and problem-based learning approaches. Delivers lectures in medicinal chemistry, drug design, and advanced pharmaceutical sciences while promoting analytical thinking and scientific reasoning. Responsible for academic planning, examinations, laboratory training, and the development of study materials to strengthen practical and research competencies.

Supervises PhD, postgraduate, and undergraduate students in research projects related to medicinal chemistry, molecular modeling, and machine learning–assisted drug discovery. Also delivers guest lectures on AI/ML-driven drug discovery and computational approaches while actively contributing to workshops, conferences, academic collaborations, mentoring, institutional academic activities, and international research collaborations.
