Teaching MBBS, MD (Microbiology), MSc (Microbiology), MSc (Virology) students and postgraduate students of other paraclinical and clinical departments. Conducting practicals, small group discussions, problem-based learning, and integrated teaching for the undergraduate students and practicals, seminars, journal clubs, case-based discussions and workshops for postgraduate students. Sets question papers, invigilates theory examinations and conducts practical examinations. Guides postgraduates in their research activities.

Involves in competency-based undergraduate & postgraduate curriculum development and preparation, and conducting of Bioethics ATCOM modules for MBBS PY2 students. Does research in the field of various fields of Microbiology and updates my knowledge by attending CMEs, workshops and conferences at national and state levels. Is a teacher guardian to undergraduate students and gives my best to help them outside the classrooms. Guide the undergraduate students in their short term research projects.

Actively involved in the departmental and institutional other academic activities. Infection Control Officer of Kasturba Hospital. Quality Manager, Microbiology Laboratory, KMC, Manipal and Internal auditor for ISO 15929 of Kasturba hospital laboratory services.
