Current Academic Role & Responsibilities
Is a certified trainer obtained Cambridge International certificate for teachers & trainers, 2012, encourages pedagogical approaches to small-group teaching and group discussions. Chair curiculum committee meetings, and also serve as a BOS member in and around Manipal. Guides postgraduates and PhD scholars in their research activities. Helps postgraduate students in their thesis as guide.
Does research in the field of life sciences and bioinformatics and up-to-date with current trends by attending workshops and conferences at national and international levels. Received a Young scientist award from VGST, Govt. of Karnataka, India 2010. Recognized as a ‘subject expert in Bioinformatics’ by various Private and Government Institutions.
