Current Academic Role & Responsibilities
Currently working as Professor and Head in the department of Community Medicine Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. Actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students and is a recognised PhD supervisor Chair person - Food and Hygiene Monitoring Committee Manipal Academy of Higher education Manipal Campus. Coordinator of centre for sustainable , affordable and value based solution in Emergency Care under MAHE Manipal.
Honorary District Epidemiologist and Rapid Response Team (RRT) member for epidemic disease investigation and management in district health committee. District Nodal Officer Maternal Death Surveillance Review and Maternal Near Miss Review committee Udupi district. TOT for Government medical officers and specialist doctors of five districts of Karnataka on updated programmatic management of , TB / HIV/ other infectious diseases , Routine Immunization and cold chain management. RRT member in surveillance and response following Adverse Event Following Immunization Udupi district .
Nodal officer National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme Kasturba Hospital Manipal. Nodal officer National Vector Borne Diseases Control Progamme Udupi district. Nodal officer for District Residency Progamme of Kasturba Medical College Manipal MAHE Udupi District.
