Current Academic Role & Responsibilities
Currently the Professor and Head in the Department of Hand Surgery. Involved in teaching for post-graduate students of Orthopaedics and Hand Surgery Departments.
We are involved in running the recently constituted Department of Hand Surgery which is a super-speciality evolved from the Department of Orthopaedics. We cater to the the services of management of various clinical disorders and problems related to Hand and the Upper Limb and have a separate OPD, clinical ward and teaching program at the Kasturba Hospital in Manipal.
We are invloved running the unique MCh (Hand Surgery) course which has been started in 2022 at Kasturba Medical College in Manipal.
