Dr. Arvind Kumar Pandey

Dr. Arvind Kumar Pandey is an Associate Professor of Anatomy at Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal, and Deputy Director of Student Affairs (Health Sciences) at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).He is a passionate educator and incorporates newer ideas & technologies in the teaching-learning process. He is actively involved in teaching,assessments,research,and academic administration, with a strong commitment to holistic student development and welfare. He serves as the Faculty Advisor to the Student Council, KMC Manipal, and oversees several student clubs, committees, and student support initiatives.

Dr. Pandey is dedicated enthusiastically in promoting a safe, inclusive, and vibrant campus environment while facilitating meaningful student participation in academic, research ,cultural, and extracurricular activities. As a faculty member of the Medical Education Unit (MEU), KMC Manipal, he contributes to the implementation of Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME), faculty development programs, mentorship initiatives, and innovative teaching–learning practices. He is a recognized PhD guide at MAHE and supervise undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral research projects.

He is an American Heart Association (AHA)-certified Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor and a Fellow of ACME, MAHE FAIMER, and FAIMER of Competency-Based Education (FACE). His contributions to education and student development have been recognized through the Excellence in Teaching Award, Good Teacher Award, and the Distinguished Alumni Award of KMC Manipal. His academic interests include clinical anatomy, medical education,student welfare, and healthcare professional development.
