Dr Anupama Rajendra Hiremath

I hold a Ph.D. in Composite Materials with research expertise in polymer nanocomposites, additive manufacturing, and materials science. My research interests focus on the development and characterization of advanced composite materials for engineering applications, with emphasis on improving mechanical, thermal, and tribological performance.

In academics, I teach Basic Mechanical Engineering and Fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering for first-year B.Tech. students, and Thermal Engineering courses for higher semester undergraduate students. I am actively involved in curriculum delivery, outcome-based education practices, and mentoring of student projects.

I currently serve as the B.Tech. (Honours) Coordinator for the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering programs. In addition, I am the Course Coordinator for the first-year courses Basic Mechanical Engineering and Fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering. I also coordinate mini-project activities undertaken by students pursuing minor specialization programs in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, guiding them in project planning, implementation, and technical problem-solving.
