Associate Professor of English & Associate Director - Administration
Dr. Anupama B.N. is an Associate Professor of English and Associate Director - Administration at the Manipal Institute of Liberal Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (MILHS), Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Bengaluru. She has over 20 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She engages students through discussions, interactive learning, presentations, research-oriented activities, and innovative pedagogical practices. She guides postgraduate students in their research activities, seminars, and dissertations.
She is a recognised Ph.D. guide and is actively engaged in supervising doctoral research. She actively contributes to academic and institutional activities and serves as an external expert for Boards of Studies and Boards of Examiners at various higher education institutions. She has also served as a Ph.D. examiner. Her areas of research interest include Indian Writings in English, Diasporic Literature, African American Literature, and Afghan Literature.
She has presented research papers at national and international conferences and has published research articles in peer-reviewed and Scopus-indexed journals. As an academician, she is committed to student mentoring, research guidance, curriculum development, and academic administration. She continually updates her knowledge through participation in conferences, seminars, workshops, and other professional development activities.
