Dr Anish Kumar Warrier

Serves as Faculty of Geology at the Manipal Institute of Technology and is actively involved in postgraduate teaching, field training, laboratory instruction, and interdisciplinary research in Earth and Environmental Sciences. Encourages interactive learning through classroom teaching, seminars, workshops, and geological field investigations. Serves as the Coordinator of the M.Sc. Geology programme and is involved in academic planning, curriculum implementation, student mentoring, dissertation coordination, examinations, and other programme-related activities.

Associated with the Centre for Climate Studies at Manipal Academy of Higher Education and serves as the Co-Coordinator of the Centre of Excellence for Smart Coastal Sustainability, contributing to research, outreach, and collaborative activities related to climate studies, marine geosciences, and sustainable coastal management. Guides postgraduate and doctoral students in dissertations, seminars, research activities, manuscript preparation, and scientific presentations. Actively participates in departmental, institutional, and interdisciplinary academic, research, and outreach activities while continuously updating knowledge through conferences, workshops, and collaborative research programmes.
