Mrs. Akshatha Rao

Current academic role encompasses teaching,  curriculum development, student mentoring, and quality enhancement within Architecture and Planning education. I contribute to strengthening academic delivery through interdisciplinary approaches, research-informed teaching, innovative pedagogical practices, and continuous improvement of curriculum and assessment frameworks. I also engage in guiding students of both Bachelors and Masters for thesis of towards critical, analytical, and context-responsive approaches to architectural and urban challenges.

Alongside academic responsibilities, I contribute to institutional planning, academic coordination, and quality assurance. My role involves supporting a culture of academic excellence, strengthening research–teaching integration, and contributing to the broader academic vision of the institution. I continue to expand my research and scholarly engagement while contributing to the institution’s academic growth and visibility.
