Job Description

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, an Institution of Eminence Deemed to be University, invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Manager – Legal, to be based at the Manipal Campus.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and executing contracts and legal documents.

• Ensuring adherence to statutory requirements, internal policies, and process standardization.

• Coordinating and supporting litigation matters and dispute resolution processes.

• Managing IP-related matters, including filing, protection, and compliance.

• Supervising legal team functions and ensuring continuity of operations.

• Applying strong contract drafting and risk assessment capabilities with a process-oriented approach and high documentation discipline.

• Leading teams with a focus on quality control, bringing a business-friendly, solution-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills (working knowledge of Kannada preferred).

Eligibility

Bachelor of Law (LLB) / Master of Laws (LLM), with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, preferably in a University / Education Sector or a Corporate Environment. A working knowledge of real estate transactions, intellectual property protection, and litigation processes is expected.
