Scholarships & Financial Aid

General Instructions

• The minimum intake of the program MUST be 10, and the minimum no. of admissions MUST be 5 in the year of admission.
• Scholarships are applicable only for the GENERAL category intake.
• Scholar Scholarships constitute 5% of the GENERAL category intake for each program.
• Achiever Scholarships constitute 5% of the GENERAL category intake for each program.
• For MET programs, the MET Rank will be used for the allotment of scholarship.
• For non-MET programs, the Manipal Merit Rank will be prepared based on qualifying examination marks.
• Candidates opting only for waitlisting are NOT eligible for these scholarships.
• Scholarship is subject to verification and approval by MAHE.
• The award of scholarship for subsequent years will be the same as given at the time of admission.
• There will be NO scholarship based on performance in the final year.

Additional Mandatory Conditions (Scholar & Achiever Categories)

• Candidates admitted under these categories must bear all other expenses, such as hostel, food, books, etc.
• Scholarship entitlement may vary every year based on performance and availability of seats.
• Refer to Annexure A & Annexure B for the list of eligible programs and the number of scholarships.
