The Nurse Practitioner Critical Care program offered by Manipal College of Nursing (MCON), MAHE, is a postgraduate residency program for registered BSc / PBBSc nurses, approved by the Indian Nursing Council in 2017. Designed to train you with advanced skills in critical care, our curriculum consists of structured clinical training and theoretical knowledge, required to excel as a nurse practitioner.

With industry/ medical support, access to intensive care units, faculty mentorship for thesis, and placement opportunities, our NPCC course provides hands-on experience, preparing you to excel in critical care practice.

Program Highlights

Postgraduate Residency Training: As per the standards of the Indian Nursing Council, you will undergo advanced training and practical expertise in critical care practice.

Clinical Practice and Mentorship: Our program gives you the opportunity to seek guidance from medical practitioners through thesis guidance and evaluation, and support from nurse practitioners in clinical learning, building a strong foundation for you in research and clinical practice.

Faculty-Led Learning: Our nursing faculty oversee the complete process of curriculum implementation while conducting classes, ensuring you get an in-depth understanding of the courses along with a balanced approach of theory with practical learning.

Financial Support: We provide non-deputed candidates with a stipend, while deputed candidates continue their salary, helping you to pursue the program without any financial burden.

Lab Work

Advanced Medical Surgical Lab, Child Health (Paediatric) Lab, Community Health Nursing, Obstetric and Gynaecological Nursing, and Nutrition Lab, along with access to innovation hubs, or incubation centres.
