Program Details
Apply advanced methods in pollution control and waste management to plan and run environmental systems.
Use tools such as GIS, remote sensing, MATLAB (numerical computing), Open Flow (hydraulic and flow simulation), and QGIS (open-source GIS) for modelling and analysis tasks.
Conduct research work, interpret experimental results, and propose practical solutions for complex environmental challenges.
Carry out laboratory testing and field investigations using standard protocols for sampling, monitoring, and data interpretation.
Interpret environmental law, policy, and ethics for compliance-oriented technical and managerial roles.
Communicate technical findings through reports and presentations while working effectively in multi-domain teams.
Wide Environmental Coverage: You study water and wastewater treatment, air pollution control, solid and hazardous waste management, environmental impact assessment, sustainability, and environmental law and policy.
Modern Treatment Methods: You study membrane-based treatment, bio-remediation (use of microbes to clean pollutants), and nano-material use-cases in environmental systems.
Data and Modelling Skills: You work with GIS, remote sensing (satellite-based earth observation), and modelling tools used for environmental planning and monitoring.
Laboratory and Field Exposure: You carry out lab sessions, field sampling, and research work that strengthens your method-based thinking and technical judgement.
Internship and Dissertation Structure: You complete an internship and a dissertation that connect academic work with real environmental problem statements.
