The M.Sc. (Medical) in Anatomy at the Manipal - TATA Medical College, Jamshedpur, is a two-year postgraduate program spread across four semesters. The program offers comprehensive training in the structural organisation of the human body through a balanced integration of didactic teaching, practical exposure, interdisciplinary learning, and research activity.

Lab Work

gain hands-on experience in gross anatomy dissections, histology slide preparation and interpretation, osteology, embryology models, radiological anatomy correlation, and surface anatomy marking through structured laboratory sessions.

Research Projects

participate in department guided academic and anatomical research projects focusing on applied, clinical, or educational anatomy, culminating in a mandatory postgraduate dissertation and academic presentations.

Teaching & Learning

undertake structured academic exposure through teaching demonstrations, interdisciplinary electives, and supervised academic activities, building readiness for teaching, research, and higher academic training in anatomy and allied medical sciences.

Qualification

You must have successfully completed B.Sc. with minimum one subject in Biological Sciences/ B.Sc. Nursing/ B.Sc. in Allied Health Sciences/ BAMS/ MBBS/ BHMS/ BPT/ B.Pharm from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks or equivalent.

You must appear for MET 2027 and secure the required cutoff Admission Process and attend physical/ online counselling.

Continuation of Scholarship

The award of Fee Waiver for the subsequent years will be the same as given at the time of admission in the first year. Scholarship will be extended in the subsequent year only to those students who have cleared all subjects in the University Examinations of previous year before the due date for payment of annual program fee. Students who are promoted to next year with failures (F) / Incomplete (I) / Detention (DT) grades, will NOT be eligible for fee waiver for that academic year. Fee Waiver will be forfeited in the instances of irregularity in attendance, proven charges of indiscipline, bringing disrepute to the Department / Institution / University etc.

Withdrawal Policy

In case the candidate leaves the course before the course completion (for any reason), he / she MUST reimburse the total program fee (as per Prospectus 2025) for the years of scholarship utilized, back to MAHE Manipal.
