Harness physics to advance cancer care and radiation safety

The Master of Radiation Therapy Technology program is a two-year postgraduate degree that prepares you to apply physics principles in radiation medicine, diagnostic imaging, and radiotherapy. As part of the radiation oncology team, medical physicists play a vital role in treatment planning, radiation protection, equipment calibration, and quality assurance to ensure accurate and safe delivery of radiation therapy to patients.

The program combines strong theoretical foundations with hands-on clinical training using modern hospital equipment such as CT simulators, medical linear accelerators, and brachytherapy systems. Through laboratory work, clinical exposure, and research training, you develop analytical skills and technical expertise required to support oncologists and healthcare professionals in cancer treatment and radiation safety.

Department of Medical Radiation Physics
