The M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering (Cloud Computing) at MSIS, MAHE, is a career-driven, two-year postgraduate program, designed to build your advanced technical skills in Cloud Computing, a domain focusing on distributed systems and internet-based computing.

Our unique curriculum is designed to impart practical exposure with 1-year of extensive industry-aligned theoretical coursework backed by practical assignments and mini-projects, along with a minimum 10-month of internship in year 2, preparing you for a career in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, Cloud operations, Cloud security essentials, and cloud-native software development.

Program Eligibility

Qualification

You must successfully complete BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering, Circuit Streams, Computer Science, or in any other discipline with a minimum of 60% marks.

If you are from other discipline, you must qualify a Programming Skills Test conducted by the Institute.

You must appear for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) and secure the required cut off.

Your 1st year consists of academic coursework accompanied by practical lab components, in courses like Cloud Architecture and Management, Cloud Network and Cloud Security Essentials along with electives in AWS Cloud Foundation and Architecting, AWS Cloud Operation, Azure Solution architect, Azure Devops for cloud etc. You are required to complete mini projects that promote self-learning and the application of concepts.

Continuation of Scholarship

The award of Fee Waiver for the subsequent years will be the same as given at the time of admission in the first year. Scholarship will be extended in the subsequent year only to those students who have cleared all subjects in the University Examinations of previous year before the due date for payment of annual program fee. Students who are promoted to next year with failures (F) / Incomplete (I) / Detention (DT) grades, will NOT be eligible for fee waiver for that academic year. Fee Waiver will be forfeited in the instances of irregularity in attendance, proven charges of indiscipline, bringing disrepute to the Department / Institution / University etc.

Withdrawal Policy

In case the candidate leaves the course before the course completion (for any reason), he / she MUST reimburse the total program fee (as per Prospectus 2025) for the years of scholarship utilized, back to MAHE Manipal.
