The Fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma is an intense one-year programme intended to foster academic careers for Orthopaedics-trained graduates seeking further expertise in trauma care surgery. The number and variety of cases allow you to formulate appropriate management and deliver the standard of care across a wide spectrum of orthopaedic trauma, while acquiring the surgical expertise to tackle varied injuries with updated care. The programme provides intensive training in assessment, decision-making, hands-on surgery, postoperative management, follow-up, and documentation of trauma cases, including polytrauma, intra- and extra-articular fractures, diaphyseal fractures, joint fracture dislocations, pelvi-acetabulum, hand, and paediatric fractures.

You must successfully complete MS or DNB in Orthopaedics, recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) / erstwhile Medical Council of India (MCI). Desirable: AO Trauma Basic Principles course training.
