Eligibility

You must successfully complete any one of the following from a recognized institution or university:

A 1-year Master's degree after a 4-year Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.

A 2-year Master's degree after a 3-year Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.

A 2-year Master's degree after a 4-year Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.

A 4-year Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 75% marks or equivalent grade.

MBBS, BDS, or PharmD with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.

If you have completed your qualifying degree outside India, it must be awarded by a recognized and accredited foreign institution.

Scholarship

If you are selected under this category, you will receive the Dr. TMA Pai Scholarship for minimum duration of the course, subject to satisfactory academic progress.

During your Ph.D., you are eligible for:

12 days of Casual Leave (CL) per calendar year.
15 days of Special Casual Leave (SCL) per calendar year for conferences, workshops, seminars, and symposiums.

All leave requires prior approval from your Research Supervisor and the Head of the Institution. Leave beyond the permissible limit will extend the minimum duration of your Ph.D.
