Admission Process
Admissions are conducted twice a year – January and July.
Note
Candidate is exempted from Ph.D. MET if they have a valid GATE score, UGC-NET, or another approved national test qualification for PhD.
Selection Weightage
Ph.D. MET: 35%
Presentation & Interview: 65%

You must successfully complete any one of the following from a recognized institution or university:
If you have completed your qualifying degree outside India, it must be awarded by a recognized and accredited foreign institution.

Scholarships
As a Self-Financed Ph.D. scholar, you are not eligible for the Dr. TMA Pai Scholarship or any University-funded monthly fellowship under this admission category.
However, you may apply for external fellowships or funding opportunities offered by government agencies and other sponsoring organizations, subject to the applicable MAHE regulations.

All leave requires prior approval from your Research Supervisor and the Head of the Institution. Leave beyond the permissible limit will extend the minimum duration of your Ph.D.
