Our School of Electrical Engineering (SEE), MIT Manipal brings together expertise across Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, VLSI, Instrumentation, Cyber-Physical Systems, and Biomedical Systems. With roots in electrical engineering education at MIT dating back to 1960, we, at SSE combine rigorous academics with hands-on learning, modern laboratories, interdisciplinary research, industry engagement, and international collaborations. Research and education span energy systems, semiconductor technology, communications, healthcare technologies, automation, electric mobility, AI/ML, and smart systems, preparing graduates for careers across core engineering, technology, research, and innovation.

Center for Semiconductor Device and Fabrication Facility

The Centre provides an advanced cleanroom-based ecosystem for semiconductor fabrication, research and skill development. Equipped for lithography, deposition, etching, oxidation, annealing and device characterization, it supports the fabrication and testing of semiconductor devices including diodes, transistors, MOS capacitors, sensors and thin-film transistors.
