Department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge
Established in 1965, the Department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge at MCODS Manipal offers diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation, and maintenance of oral function — ensuring the comfort, appearance, and health of patients with conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth. Specialising in implant, aesthetic, and reconstructive dentistry, it restores oral function through prostheses and restorations such as complete dentures, crowns, and implant-retained or implant-supported restorations. Beyond patient care, the department places equal emphasis on innovative teaching methodologies and research, supported by a fully digital, CAD-CAM-enabled workflow.
